Veg fried rice is one of the easiest main course dishes you can do. This recipe has primarily a south Indian flavor & its so easy to do, you can make it in 5 mins if you have the ingredients ready

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup chopped beans
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrot
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • Water for boiling
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 green chillies cut halves
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • Salt
  • 1 bowl cooked basmati rice
  • 2 tsp black pepper powder
Instructions
  1. Take a vessel and add enough water for boiling.
  2. Turn on the stove and let the water boil.
  3. When the water starts boiling add beans, carrot and peas.
  4. Let it boil till the vegetables are cooked.
  5. Now drain the water and keep the vegetables aside.
  6. Heat a pan and add oil.
  7. When the oil is hot enough add garam masala, green chillies, coriander leaves and ginger and garlic paste and cook till the raw smell of ginger and garlic disappears.
  8. Now add boiled vegetables and salt and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
  9. To the mixture add cooked basmati rice and mix well.
  10. Now sprinkle black pepper powder and mix well.
  11. Simple veg fried rice is ready to be served.
