Katori Chaat

A simple way to explain katori chaat is a “Basket filled with loads of taste”. Base for the katori chaat is a basket shaped fried grated potato. Basket is filled with potato patties, pakoras, different spices and chutneys. At the end chaat is topped with sweet lassi, crushed sev, fried poha, boondi, shredded carrot, shredded beetroot, pomegranate and shredded cheese.

This chaat can be considered a speciality of Delhi street vendors and not very much available outside of Delhi. Pragathi college dosa centre

It’s a treat for the eyes to watch the chef make 14 dosas in 5 minutes. This dosa centre is located near pragathi college, Hyderabad, India. Dosa is prepared using fermented batter. One cup of batter is poured and flattened on the hot stone top. All the dosas get a good dash of tomato chutney, butter, chopped onions, potato masala and shredded cheese. The tomato chutney is made by grinding red chilli, garlic, ginger and tomato. When the cheese is melted and dosa is rolled and served with coconut and peanut chutney.
